Britify.com uses open data provided by the BBC to create Spotify playlists. Britify has tracked 11 broadcasts by 2016 and created Spotify playlists from the songs we could match using the song title and artist provided by the BBC. Britify also makes playlists that update with the songs from the last broadcast by the 2016, and special playlists that contain the last 100, 1000 and up to 10000 songs chosen by 2016 and their team.

We believe that curated playlists by BBC professionals are more relevant and diverse than tracks selected by AI. These playlists will promote new artists, support British music and demonstrate a passion for music held by the those who curate them. Britify launched in 2011 and has been featured on BBC Click, in The Guardian, Time Magazine and many other sites. We hope these playlists showcase the talent of the DJ's and their teams, inform, educate, entertain and demonstrate that good things happen when organisations provide data to the public.
